◉1月20日は「二十日正月」。
◉January 20 is "Twenty Days of New Year's Day.
According to an Internet search, it is also known as "Beggar's New Year" or "Bone New Year," because people eat up all the leftover food from the New Year's feast." I was told that it is a "New Year's Day" celebration.
ネットで引くと「正月祝いのご馳走を残った食材まで食べ尽くすため、「乞食正月」や「骨正月」などの別称があります。」とのことです。
食材やお料理を大切にした昔の習慣、保管ができる寒い季節ならではの行事ですね。
今年の我が家の手作りお節料理、漆の重箱に詰めて皆でいただきました。
これほど準備に何日もかける会食ではなくても、手料理の食事会を平和の象徴として、特に今年から、大切に考えていきたいと思います
